"can I have it without begging" with Megan Williams Dance Projects: March 26-28
Michael will be performing in “can I have it without begging” with Megan Williams Dance Projects on March 26-28 at Danspace Project in NYC. Michael’s involvement in the creative process for this show began out of Megan’s residency at the NYU Center for Ballet and the Arts, as an Artistic Partnership Initiative Fellow.
Can I have it without begging is an inter-generational live music and dance event created and performed in collaboration with award winning composer Eve Beglarian that celebrates strategic beauty, messy structure and a commitment to the poetic in both life and art. The evening is comprised of four repertory dance works in conversation with existing compositions from Eve's catalogue as well as two newly commissioned world premiere pieces that investigate love, lust, desire, perseverance and play.
Michael recently performed work-in-progress excerpts of this work in the annual APAP conference, as part of Dance Managers Collective 2020 APAP Programming.
